Unless you can demonstrate previous CrossFit experience, you must start with one of our Foundations classes. We offer FREE foundations classes at 8:00 am every Saturday morning by appointment (CLICK HERE TO SCHEDULE), you may alternatively schedule a private foundations class that fits your schedule for $50.00 (CLICK HERE TO SCHEDULE).
The decision to begin any new exercise program should be based on research and knowledge. Crossfit is a strength and conditioning system built on constantly varied functional movements executed at high intensity. Our workouts, known as WODs (workout of the day), combine diverse movements and energy pathways. Movements come from diverse backgrounds like Power-lifting, Olympic-lifting, Gymnastics, Cardio-training, and emphasize functionality over muscle isolation. You will see squats, lifts, pulls and other movements which are functional (i.e., they accomplish a task).
A Crossfit gym is unlike most gyms you have attended before and usually utilizes floor space for workouts instead of covering the floor with traditional gym equipment (treadmills, ellipticals, etc)
